Molybdenum products

Material properties

Among refractory metals, molybdenum has good thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity and low coefficient of expansion. It has high strength at high temperature (1100 ~ 1650℃). Compared with tungsten, molybdenum is easy to work, so it is used in high-temperature furnaces, electronic tubes, electric light sources, metal working tool manufacturing departments and aerospace industry.
Molybdenum can resist corrosion of molten glass and its oxides will not contaminate the glass.

Molybdenum has been used in the glass industry as heating electrode and sputtered palladium for coating of solar cells and flat panel displays.
