1) Gaskets

Gaskets are the mechanical seal that is utilized to fill the gap or crevice between any two fittings. It is ordinarily used to stay away from any kind of spillage, leakage and in high weight pressure applications.

2) Socket Weld Fittings

A Socket Weld is a pipe connection detail in which a pipe is embedded into a recessed area of a Valve, flange or fitting. As opposed to butt weld fittings, Socket Weld fittings are mainly utilized for little pipe distances across (Small Bore Piping); for the most part to pipe whose nominal diameter is NPS 2 or smaller.

3) Insert Fittings

A pipe insert is a sort of buttweld fitting that is utilized to join pipe to a fitting all the more helpfully. It empowers us an easier, speedier, and financially savvy installation of the fittings. It can be used in various applications.

4) Threaded fittings

Threaded fittings are like buttweld fittings or socket weld fittings. The main distinction is that there are threads given to install these manufactured fittings. For example threaded tees, cross, elbow, bends, unions, couplings, nipples, caps, plugs, inserts, and reducers.

5) Pipe Nipple

A pipe nipple is a fitting, comprising of a short bit of pipe, usually provided with a male pipe thread at each end, for connecting two other fittings.

6) Connector

connector is a specialized fitting intended to attach a hydraulic line to a valve, cylinder, motor, pump, or other active device.
7Coupling

coupling is a specialized fitting which attaches two hydraulic lines to each other, end-to-end, and which cannot be removed without first detaching one of the hydraulic lines from some other object.

There are three types of coupling available;

  • Full Coupling
  • Half Coupling
  • Reducing Coupling

Half Coupling - What are forged pipe fittings?

Full Coupling

Full Coupling is used for connecting small bore pipes. It used to connect pipe to pipe or pipe to swage or nipple. It can be threaded or socket ends types.

Half Coupling

Half Coupling is used for small bore branching from a vessel or large pipe. It can be threaded or socket type. It has a socket or thread end on only one side.

Reducing Coupling

Reducing coupling is used to connect two different sizes of pipe. It is like concentric reducer that maintains a center line of the pipe but small in size.

8Union

union is a specialized fitting which attaches a hydraulic line to anything else, specially constructed for easy disassembly without rotating the line. Some connectors are also unions.
9Adaptor

An adaptor is a specialized fitting which permits the attachment of one size or type hydraulic line to another size or type hydraulic line, or to another size or type port on a valve, cylinder, motor, pump, or other active device, or another size or type fitting.
